These Boston boys grew up near to each other, and first met at school. They became good mates and lived together in the early ‘90s. Instead of loafing about watching My So-Called Life, they started work on the script of Good Will Hunting, which set up their career as Hollywood A-listers. They’re also distantly related, meaning they’re not only co-writers, co-stars and flatmates – they’re tenth cousins!

This partying pair must have a great time living together in SW3. The Made In Chelsea stars not only have similar lifestyles and filming schedules, but a shared taste in all things cosmetic. We do worry, though, that all of Cheska’s fake-tan gets ‘borrowed’ by the preening metrosexual, who she admits spends much more time in the bathroom than her. But not as much as we despair for whoever has to tidy up after Nellie, Cheska’s dog!

We’ve never seen these two gorgeous stars in the same film – maybe the combo of Jude Law AND Ewan McGregor is too much for female audience members to handle. But they have appeared onstage together and they’re great friends in real life. They met in 1990 when a director gave them $30 and told them to get drunk to see how they got on. They got on so well, they eventually moved in together!

The One Direction boys lived separately from bandmates Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan. They rented a swanky £3million bachelor pad in Friern Barnet, north London, and almost bought it, but after finding success in America, they’re never going to spend enough time in the country to make full use of its facilities – including a minibus and a gym. The former lunatic asylum (yikes!) has housed other celeb tenants – this is the building where Cheryl Cole and ex-husband Ashley Cole lived before they started going out.

James Corden and Dominic Cooper

 

The cheeky entertainers met at the National Theatre, where they played classmates in The History Boys. They got on so well that they started living together. Even when they both bought houses in London just doors away from each other, Dominic rented his out and lived at James’s until he started a family with his girlfriend, Julia Carey. It wasn’t a You, Me, and Dupree situation at all, though – Dominic introduced James to Julia.

Frankie Cocozza and Kirk Norcross

 

Kirk told heat  in February 2012 that he was a fan of Frankie Cocozza when he first saw him on The X Factor. So it's no wonder they hit it off when they were put in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Frankie then moved into the former TOWIE star’s Essex pad, rent-free (he offered to pay, but Kirk refused]. They say it’s not a party pad, but Frankie insisted: “If I’m shagging a bird, Id expect him to come in and get involved.” Charming!

Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling

 

When two beautiful Hollywood stars move in together, it’s easy to jump to conclusions and think that they’re going out. But Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams lived together to prepare themselves to convincingly play an arguing couple in Blue Valentine. There was a problem, though – they got on too well! At the time, Michelle told The Metro: “He’s so hard to hate. He does the dishes, takes care of the kids.”

Sienna Miller and Poppy Delevingne

 

When you put two beautiful, stylish women in the same house, there’s definitely going to be some squabbling over who gets to wear what. But, oddly, there's no beef between actress Sienna Miller and model Poppy Delevingne. The blonde has admitted that she used to crush on Sienna. Hard. She told Vogue that before they were flatmates, "She was totally my heroine at the time, I just wanted to emulate her.” She knows how creepy that sounds: “And now of course we're friends and I'm always telling her how I wanted to be just like her - she probably finds it quite scary."

In 1994, when the Spice Girls were still called Touch, they  lived in very humble surroundings. Piling into a house in Berkshire, they worked incredibly hard, but had no contract. Surviving on pocket money(!), Geri was the only one with her own room. Mel C and Mel B shared one room, and Victoria shared another room with Michelle - the member of the original band who was soon replaced with Emma. After a struggle, they found new management, signed a deal and earned millions! Now they have so much money that they never have to share a room again. Ahhh. How sweet.
