Mitzeee comes to but can’t remember what’s happened. Riley and Lynsey come into the flat to see Mercedes has been stabbed. They call the police and a bewildered Mitzeee runs away…to Brendan’s! He says he’ll help but she won’t tell him what’s happened. They agree to meet later on so she can escape.
Meanwhile, Lacey and Neil get drunk and head to the party. On the way, Lacey gets a call – Martha’s drunk, too, and has lost her key. Lacey and Neil go to let her in, but she’s found her keys and is in the house again. She flirts LOADS with Neil and doesn’t care that Lacey’s drunk.
When Neil boasts to Callum that his mum’s a cougar, and that he was lucky to leave the house with his pants on, Callum goes nuts and throws some punches. Ash sees it and tries to tell Callum to chill out, but he’s furious. He tells his dip-dyed older sister that she needs to be part of the family, because it’s all falling apart.
At the hospital, Jacqui’s by Mercedes’ bedside when a flustered Mitzeee turns up. It looks like Jacqui will be sympathetic if Mitzeee just tells her the truth, but Mercedes wakes up and Mitzeee runs away.
Mercedes tells a big fat porker
Mercedes tells Jacqui and Michaela that she doesn’t want to talk to the police – she’s still in pain and you can tell she totally regrets putting herself in hospital. She wants to put it all behind her, but the police want a statement immediately. Riley and Lynsey are tense because Riley hesitated when the police asked them if there had been anyone else in the flat when Mercedes was stabbed.
After Mercedes gives her statement to the police, Riley, Lynsey, Michaela and Jacqui pile into her room. She’s put her guard up again and puts on a very convincing lie – making sure that Riley thinks Mitzeee stabbed her. She says that the pills made Mitzeee do it – that she maybe shouldn’t have provoked her because she seemed so angry.
Freaked out, Lynsey calls Brendan to say that if he sees Mitzeee, he needs to hand her over to the police. He’s already decided, though. Mitzeee’s in far too much of a state to escape, she won’t last two minutes out there. Brendan does the good (?) thing and hands Mitzeee over to the police, who put her into a cell. How will she prove her innocence?
