Mitzeee tries to kiss Riley but he shies away, saying it’ll never work. She chucks him out, where he joins the lads, who are having a bit of a night. Nancy goes round and Mitzeee tells her she’s confessed her love to Riley but he doesn’t feel it back. Mercedes, who’s come to get Bobby, hears the conversation…

Nancy goes to the pub and tells Riley he needs to man up and tell Mitzeee he loves her. All the lads agree (totally forgetting Lynsey - oops!) and carry Riley to the club, where he can confess his love to Mitzeee. But she’s reluctantly gone on a date with footballer Jay!

Riley goes in the club and has his moment, but can’t tell Mitzeee he loves her. She leaves with Jay, but Doug – who’s been feeling a bit low on masculinity, thanks to Ste – gives him a rousing pep talk. And when Brendan tries to laugh at Riley for missing his chance, Doug stands up to him and tells him he’s just a sad old man with no life.  

Rhys has the same idea, and Dodger and Darren encourage him, but as soon as he gets to Brendan’s to shout at him, the police arrest him for disturbing the peace. Jay tries to kiss Mitzeee, but she can’t do it, because she loves Riley. He feels the same, but is too drunk to get through to her. He texts "I love you" but accidentally sends it to Mercedes instead of Mitzeee, just before passing out under a tree! Oh dear…
