The McQueens desperately search for Carmel, but have no luck until Jacqui heads into church to find her. She’s been talking to a priest who’s been trying to convince her that she needs to be in hospital, but she only leaves when Jacqui tells her she can go home. Once at home, Jacqui tells Carmel she’s got to go to hospital – but she’s in denial that anything’swrong. After a chat with Mercedes’ creepy Dr Browning, Carmel realises that she will never learn to live with her scars, and runs away again – this time to the edge of the hospital’s roof!
Mitzeee’s umming and aahing about going to Paris with footballer Jay. He’s a tabloid bigshot, big enough to turn her into a bona fide celebrity WAG. But after Lynsey – who’s come round to nurse Riley at Mitzeee’s request – tells Mitzeee that Riley is obviously in love with her, the glamour girl sacks off her trip to Paris and decides to stay with her food-poisoned second cousin. It must be love!
Meanwhile, Dirk, Dodger and Liberty fake it so that Jack thinks he’s run over Liberty in his car. With some hammy acting, they convince him that Liberty’s so hurt that she needs somewhere stable to live, so he takes back his eviction notice. However, he soon cottons onto their (rubbish) acting, and decides they can only stay if they pay rent. And at the basketball double-date, Doug’ sput off Ste because he thinks that his new boyfriend fancies Ally. While he was into the idea of sleeping with Ste tonight, he thinks he’s not taking it seriously enough and leaves...
