Royal wedding tat update: Kate Middleton is now a doll

Lucky Kate is going to join the ranks of Take That, The Spice Girls and JLS by having a doll made of her.

This *ahem* classy item is being produced by the Franklin Mint and it will cost a staggering $195.00 or about £120 in real money.

Here is what they had to say about the doll.

'Kate Middleton is living the dream every little girl holds dear...and every woman remembers with a smile...becoming a Princess.

For the first time in over 350 years, a non-royal like one of us is beginning that journey for real. Celebrate this moment in history with the finest dolls in the world. Experience the thrill of her engagement by owning one of the most elegant and regal treasures in the world.

Our Kate Middleton doll is a beautiful and authentic replica of the future Princess, featuring hand-painted, life-like portrait sculpture, jewellery and a reproduction of the blue silk jersey dress that was worn to formally announce the engagement. She also features miniature replicas of the jewellery the soon-to-be princess donned, including the necklace, earrings, and engagement ring, all outfitted with simulated sapphires, diamonds, and other jewels.

The 16-inch “Portrait of a Princess” doll has a soft vinyl body and chestnut brown handmade wig. This limited edition collectible comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a display stand.

Take home a piece of the fairytale today!'

Where is the Prince William doll? that's what we want to know, and will it have weird hair like the ghost of a bowl of Weetabix like him?
